gawguy
Actually, they're probably high-order code, but they look like gibberish and should be Thai writing. It's an old problem I know, but I haven't dealt with it for years. I'm setting up a used computer that runs XP Pro 2002, SP 3. I think the problem may be in the Regional & Language CPL / Supplemental Language Support box. There is a check box to "install files for complex script...including Thai." I can check that box but when I click Apply and OK, nothing happens. I am supposed to be prompted as it says on MS: "You will prompted to insert the Windows CD-ROM or point to a network location where the files are located." When I click OK the boxes all close as if everything was done. I don't have the CD that goes with the system, but I have a different one from a different computer. However the computer does not look on it anymore when I click okay, and there is a green check in the check box when I restart. I believe it would be grayed out if it had loaded the needed files. So, can I get these files online? Thanks, Gaw Guy
shygye
Did you go into "Details..." on the Languages tab?
