t-ride
Hello guys, I'm looking for a hotel for my future trip in Pattaya around the end of March/beginning of April. I'd like it to be near Walking street, guest friendly with a nice pool and, if possible, a decent fitness room. Reliable in-room wireless internet access is mandatory as I'll have to work few hours every day and ideally it should also be in an area that is quiet during the day (at least quiet enough to give some phone calls without having the music of the nearby bars in the background). Max price, around 8000 THB/night. Thanks.
colorwolf
dunno...for Bt8,000 per night you won't be getting much of anything...
dddave
The Marriott is probably your best choice. Both the Metropole and Renaissance on Soi Diana, while not particularly close to walking St have all the amenities you require. NO location in Pattaya can be guaranteed as quiet during the day. There are construction projects virtually everywhere. March-April are pretty much into slow season. Where ever you stay, you'll probably be able to switch to a quieter room if necessary. With your budget, you might consider a short term condo rental.
unit731
Agree with dddave above. Marriott is centrally located and walk to just about anything. Not that far from Lolita's. Siam Bayview. I don't know about amenities but centrally located. LK Metropole Hotel. Small pool.
ALHOLK
Siam Bayview. I don't know about amenities but centrally located. I don't have any current info but it hasn't always been guest friendly. regards ALHOLK P.S. The same applies to Siam Bayshore which should be quiet and is closer to the WS action.
