However, when the Amgen Tour of California was set to visit my town and the start was going to be less than 2 kilometers from my house (and I only had to get out of bed by 0900 hours), I did a crash course with my new Canon D450 and strolled up the street. These pics were taken in the front of the peloton and about 200 yards from the start. But you gotta figure that they had another 131 miles to the finish. So I didn't yell at them to get the lead out and with the program. 5555555555555 Besides, it's not every day that you get to get up close to world-class athletes so effortlessly and FREE !
