Let Caravan Theatre take you on a journey of the imagination!

Fresh from the success of last year's Xpat Blue, a dramatic cabaret for adults about life as an expat in Bangkok, Caravan Theatre revisits theatre for children and offers two plays for young audiences, aged 7 and up, in one fun-filled, delightful afternoon. Don't miss this opportunity to expose your child to some great theatre!

Caravan Theatre's latest production, "Two Fabulous Flights of Fancy", is two original plays that explore the boundless expanse of play-filled minds.

First up is Doctor Concocter, a wonderful, one-person play based on the poem which inspired the famous Doctor Doolittle books. Combining puppetry, dance, mime and story-telling, acclaimed Canadian actress Kathy France masterfully weaves this tale of hope and compassion. Come along and join the Doctor as he travels to far-off Africa. Can he get there in time to save the sick, desperate animals? Or will he be overcome by the perils that beset him at every turn? One thing we can assure: this wild and whacky Doctor is sure to entertain!

Our second play, Mr Imagination , is a one-man show featuring Australian children's entertainer Dancin Dan. Imaginations will stretch as Dan takes the audience from one poetic adventure to the next. You'll be sure to meet dragons, learn how to make rainbows and discover the secret to one of life's priceless gifts. Mr. Imagination is a collection of original poetry, thoughts and possibilities, in which magic and verse become one and the same. Witty and wonderful - rhyming has never been so much fun!

Both shows run 35 minutes long, and are performed as one event, separated by a short intermission. A buffet meal (extra charges apply) is available on the lawn, before and after each performance. Due to the advanced nature of the poetic language, the shows are most appropriate for ages 7 to teens.

"Two Fabulous Flights of Fancy" will be performed Saturday March 21st and Sunday March 22nd at 1pm and 4pm and Sunday March 29th at 1pm and 4pm (total 6 shows) at The British Club, Silom Soi 18, Bangkok. Tickets are available at The British Club (For BC members only), or by calling 089 689 3789 or emailing caravantheatrethail and@yahoo. com. Tickets cost Bt350/adults and Bt300/children. Group discounts apply to groups of 10 or more.
