My friends and I are about to spend a year in Phuket, and I'm a bit surprised to learn that I can't find a one way flight to thailand from the U.S. that isn't just as expensive as the RT flight. From what I can tell, RT flights with a 1 year return are ridiculously expensive as well. any help?

Maybe a "around the world" ticket, as they are usually good for one year?

My first visit to Thailand was part of a RTW trip and I could take up to a year to complete the journey.

I found WWW.airbrokers.com to be honest and helpful.
