Bats are Dying

The bats are dying at an alarming rate.

 

This affects the whole ecosystem.

At home we always had bats around us. You'd see them flying in the yard at night chasing insects and could easily mistake them for birds. These days, however, it's rare to see a bat. I figured it was the damned city spraying insecticide at night that's killed them off. The city does it late at night, after midnight. I came out of Lodge late one evening and was nearly done in by the clouds of insecticide that where everywhere. I'd almost bet some illegal chemicals were being used.
