BelgianBoy
In Germany (all EU??) we do no use checks anymore. It's either cash, EC cards, credit cards or wire transfer. only in the Euro-zone as far as I know. BB
BelgianBoy
You can't mail in a payment? For example, your electric for the month. Or if you would have a home phone? One is not billed for this service? I can't believe the option of mailing in a check is obsolete already. Totally obsolete indeed. Bills can be paid through a bankphone service, or even at ATM's. Or go to the bank, online, or even automatic billings..... Welcome to the 21st century. BB
cavanami
My utility bills are paid directly from my bank account. Have been doing this for 10++ years and works great! Worse case, I use Citibank and they will send a check to pay whatever bill, all via the internet
