WorldFun
yes swiss was a nice welcome to the star alliance a while back - service somewhere in between LH & TG not much different than Austrian actually, but for the specific in seat 9" screens I guess they might be 1 of a kind so if thats your thing go for it! samak
Austrian has the best food IMHO, in particular in biz (inflight chef!)! but the seats are worse than Swiss and Lufthansa
WorldFun
I guess as always it depends on the particular configuration of your flight, but of course Austrian may overall use lower seat pitch on VIE-BKK routes as compared to FRA/MUC-BKK or ZRH-BKK? samak
not sure what you are talking about! Austrian is flying only VIE-BKK with a 777; Swiss only ZHR-BKK on a A340 and Luftwaffe FRA-BKK with a 747 (MUC-BKK only flown by TG); i have flown all 3 on those routes in biz class so can not much say about coach. biz class seats: pitch: pretty much the same; width: Austrian smaller than the other two
