cheekyboy Posted June 2, 2009 Report Share Posted June 2, 2009 Reckless driving kills 2 British men Posted by admin / 2009-06-01 In the early hours of May 22nd, around 6.00am, police were notified of a fatal road Reckless driving kills 2 British men accident that had just occurred in front of the Big C Supermarket on Second Road, officers and a Sawangboriboon Rescue team quickly made their way to the location. At the scene they discovered the bodies of Mr. Matthiew Jenkins, aged 35, lying in the middle of the road and Mr. Alex George, aged 25, lying on the sidewalk. The two British men had sustained extensive damage to their bodies including broken arms and legs, broken helmets and severe head trauma. Their badly damaged Honda CBR 600cc motorcycle was found 100 metres away from where their bodies were discovered. A motorbike taxi driver who witnessed the accident explained that the two young men were travelling at high speed, using the road as a race track; he presumed they must be under the influence of alcohol to be travelling in such a way. As they approached the curve in the road, the driver appeared to lose control, they hit the sidewalk at high speed, were thrown from the cycle and would have died instantly from their injuries. I have never seen a Bell or other quality helmet in LOS, maybe the larger bike shops? Please, no more speed bumps, better to let the nutters kill themselves off...
