The interviewer asked Sampras if Federer was the best ever. How is he supposed to answer that question? "No, I am?" What a stupid question to ask the guy who had just minutes before, been at the top of the majors winner's list. (with Federer) Pete will always be thought of as one of the greats for sure but being the greatest will always be subjective, on grass or overall.
