Pattaya, August 7 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : Khun Itipon, the Mayor of Pattaya chaired a meeting at Pattaya City hall on Friday to discuss the next step of a rejuvenation program for the City. The first program which offered 20,000 free hotel rooms had limited success and the next idea is a “Pattaya Grand Sale†which will require the cooperation of a variety of local businesses, especially those related to the Tourism Industry. Discounts and special offers will be available from a variety of businesses. For now the meeting discussed how the scheme could be implemented. They discussed the issuance of special discount cards for tourists and the use of stickers to indicate whether or not a business is part of the program. The Pattaya Grand Sale is part of a three part program to stimulate tourism and is expected to start in September.
