Last month, 20 ish boy from sister's wife from a farang friend in the village died in a motorbike accident somewhere around Pattaya. The boy was said to work in a restaurant and heading home at 5 am(!?) when he hit an other motor bike driven by a young woman at high speed (police said) both died on the scene.

Seems the boy was double insured, restaurant owner paid for the funeral and father/mother were paid 2x50K baht insurance.

Comment from farang friend: first time the boy brought some money home
