tartempion Posted October 2, 2009 Report Share Posted October 2, 2009 Strange, I bought an i7 920 running Vista 64bit and although I can access most of my bookmarks using Mozilla Firefox 3.5.3 I can navigate to 'my yahoo' but it shows all crap and can't get into yahoo mail http://mail.yahoo.com/ - Firefox can't find the server at mail.yahoo.com. Nor Yahoo groups. Internet explorer is even worse to get anywhere and I hate that stuff. On an other computer no problems, where's the bug? Can't find anything and wasting hours to get nowhere. Thanks for any clues BTW, I run Kaspersky internet security 2009, Mozilla and Firefox are approved applications and so does the other computer. tartempion Posted October 5, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 5, 2009 I had to hard code the DNS IP my Isp uses in LAN properties, hard to find where that is: Control Panel, Network and good luck down the road.
