The last question of each round is always a 'Connections' round where you are given 4 very vague clues and have to come up with 4 individual answers plus the common link - this carries 10 points and basically decides who wins. If you don't spot the connection it is usually impossible to come up with any definite answers. There is a 3 minute time limit - time yourself honestly and see what you come up with. a) a rifle an Ibsen play c) 1st Oscar winning x-rated movie d) a casino card game The combined intellect of Long Gone/Gun, Bangkok Phil, Itsmedave, Mike the Menu and his mate Basser scored ......... 2 points! Both the teams went really bad last night, but everyone had a great time that was the main thing, the first question of the night was an unbelievable bad starting point; How many nipples does a sheep have ?? now getting this wrong proves that my shagging sheep rumor is an urban myth !! Another funny point of the night was when the quiz finished at 10pm and the girlfriends of Liverpool Jim and Bangkok George who where present at the quiz for the first time asked, '' how come you guys never get home till 2 or 3am when there is a quiz and it finishes at 10pm '', I quickly jumped in to say ''we always go to play cards at my place and the day was saved'' until Itsmedave came over and when mentioning to him if he would come to the card game said '' what card game ? '' Itsmedave was wondering why the fuck Liverpool Jim and I were winking profusely at him and the girls realized we were bullshitting, Anyway Liverpool Jim still managed to get away and get to go for the after quiz drinks with the remaining crew and I would like to thank him for my big headache today after buying those three bottles of champagne at (edited)......... I guess you guys won't be sending me a ticket in the near future to fly over and help the team. Sounds like quite the night. Me, I'm cleaning baby puke off my shirt and surviving on 4 hours sleep a night. I wonder if I can come up with an excuse for a solo trip to the LOS? In the tradition of that old 'Mastermind' game with the hidden coloured pegs I will reveal that both you and Brink have one (different) correct answer each.
