torrenova
Nearest hotel with what you want is not in Buriram but in Surin, about 60km away. Here's the hotel website http://www.thongtarinhotel.com/ Real prices are about Bt650/700 a night. Decent bathtub with great hot water and pressure. Soapy is next door. No slip and slide on the mat, just bath and bed. I guess you could take your own mat ? Nothing like that in Buriram. Hotels in Buriram. Supposed best is the Thepnakorn http://thepnakorn-hotel.com/ at around Bt1000/1200 a day. Nothing really near the hotel so one in town might be better, especially if no transport of your own but they are pretty dire. Good for a night, no more really. Pom Michael
The best hotel in Buriram is the VIP suite at the Wang Thong Hotel - but that was a few years ago. Same owners as Thepnakorn I believe. The room had to be at least 80 sqm - and at the time it was just 800 baht! Wong Thong 512/1 Chira Road, Amphoe Mueang, Buriram Tel :: 0 4461 2540, 0 4462 0860-2 Fax :: 0 4462 0859 No idea if the hotel even exists anymore. Cheers! Pom Michael
Yes, that is it. It is off Jira/Chira road - inside a little soi about 50 meters. The VIP is well worth the money! Wish I had a reason to go to Buriram. Cheers!
torrenova
Wish I had a reason to go to Buriram. Cheers! You don't ! Really less than sufficient there to keep you amused and listening to the fucking mega cheap charlie expats is intolerable. I have never met a town or area with a greater percentage of tight bastards outside Oz.
