Bangkoktraveler Posted January 8, 2010 Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 Pol Gen Pateep Tanprasert will be acting police chief until the new police boss is selected, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said on Saturday. “There is a problem in selecting the new police chief and I am trying to settle it. It is not the problems between the Democrat and main coalition partner Bhumjaithai Party as speculated. The new police chief will be made known within this yearâ€Â, Mr Abhisit said. The premier insisted that he will this year ensure transparency in the spending budget for financing projects under the Thai Khem Kaeng (Strong Thailand) stimulus scheme.
