bangkokrover
From March 8th 2010, you have to send UK passport applications to HongKong, and they will stop processing in Thailand. They say it takes about 10 days to process and since you have to send in your expiring passport, it means that you will be in Thailand with no passport for a couple of weeks. Since we (UK nationals) are required to carry our passports around with us by the Thais, I can see some of us ending up in the nick. http://ukinthailand.fco.gov.uk/en/passports/
Ckrisg
I would think that the embassy will issue you suitable paperwork to cover the period your passport is away. Dont think anyone will go to prison :nahnah:
