Savittre
Greetings, I'm just wondering if Pattaya has dentists that match up to those in Bangkok in terms of expertise and also price. I'm thinking of getting my teeth cleaned and possibly laser whitened. Any recommendations? Thanks!
Encore
Both my wife as well as a former TGF have used the dental clinic in Bangkok Pattaya hospital. Possibly th most expensive in P, but cheap by Farang standards, and excellent service. Other may know cheaper at same quality.

rookie
FWIW.. I'd highly recommend the German Dental Clinic, located on Thappraya Road at Soi-9. Appointments: 081-8615181 All the dentists, in various specialties, are female and certified. Teeth cleaning, last time I was there, was 800-Bt [less if you've only a few teeth left ;-)], performed by a dentist, not a hygienist. Instead of poking and painful prodding, they use an ultrasonic device for cleaning. Painless! I don't know if they do laser whitening; maybe phone and ask. They also have a large and complete dental lab on the premises. The owner, Michael, is German, and had a large dental lab back home. He and his lab also do work for dentists back in Germany, as the quality is high and lab prices here are less than in Germany I've been using them for 7-years. I'm not German and English is spoken. SpiceMan
All the dentists, in various specialties, are female and certified. When I have to go to a dentist, I prefer a female because I have this illogical notion that she will be more gentle. But dentistry requires a high degree of manual dexterity, craft work and good spacial awareness. Studies have shown that males have better spacial awareness and are better at craft work. Yet I still want a gentle female!
