The cost depends a great deal on whether it is a "public" university (i.e. government) or a private university. The government universities - Thammasat, Chula, Mahidon, Silpakorn, Chiang Mai etc plus the "rachapat universities" are quite inexpensive. The private universities may cost an arm and a leg. A degree at Bangkok University costs at least 3 times what it does at a govmt university.

Neighbor's daughter across the way was paying in the 100'sK baht per semester.

The neighbor was squeezing her BF until he had enough and is now out of the scene.

Now sure the Uni the gal attends but seems like I heard 300,000 Baht a semester and the gal was living at home, commuting daily to school.

Cav,

Huh!? This can't be right: "but seems like I heard 300,000 Baht a semester and the gal was living at home, commuting daily to school."
