AM radio in LA was (and is) total crap, so FM was refreshing and KMET was one of our first stations. Seems kinda wrong to whine about what was coming across the airwaves on your transistor radio while you were sitting on the beach, as our brothers, like Frash were fighting overseas but, hey, I was only 10 years old!
