Hugh_Hoy Posted July 7, 2010 Report Share Posted July 7, 2010 Gavin Newsom, Mayor of San Francisco, has issued an executive order which bars the sale of "non-diet" soft drinks (and others) from vending machines located on city property. This stupid fuck thinks this will lower the obesity level I suppose. He probably doesn't want to admit that those who drink high calorie drinks probably consume a lot of other high calorie consumables. Is he gonna ban pastries, pasta,donuts, burritos, etc.? But haven't "diet" drinks become the new "regular"? There is room in vending machines for both diet and non-diet drinks so it should be a matter of personal choice. Except in schools.
