lifeline Posted December 6, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 6, 2010 Yes, it's my understanding that each trade would be taxed - cost of living goes up for everyone and no politician has to risk his or her job by voting for a tax increase. And, apparently, having failed in Copenhagen, Obama is going to try to accomplish the same through the Environmental Protection Agency. I suppose to the average consumer the results will be similar but, seems better to me that it is done within the US rather than giving control to the former engineer nitwit who runs the UN IPCC.
