Stickman
Truth be told MANY places offer good rates for monthly stays in Pattaya in the low season. You could check out many of the hotels, or even go for a condo - check the Pattaya Mail or Pattaya Today or some of the notice boards around Pattaya, such as at The Avenue Shopping Centre. It really comes down to your budget. Some hotels will do a monthly rate for well under 10,000 baht a month...
Dexi
Check out some of the small sois off Pttya Glahg (central Rd. )or ask a mototaxi or even enlist the services of a friendly BG.They will be able to help you locate somewhere. Many places available in the 4-8 k/month range (water+elec are xtra ).Usually require 1 month in advance + 1 month as a deposit.Sometimes getting the full deposit back at the end of the term can be tricky..... SirHalberd
You have to figure out how much you want to spend per month or per day. Some hotels will give a break on prices for long stays. In a hotel they pay for the electricity, water, wifi and cable. Up to you! You can find some cheap places on Soi Buakhaw and the side sois off of it. Don't buy a pig in a poke applies to apartments. See it first and get some opinions of fellow expats living around there before you enter into any contract. You can find some cheap hotels on Soi Buakhaw, Soi Honey Inn and Soi Skawbeach. Stay in a hotel for a few days to sort things out. Happy New Year.
