Guest Posted May 6, 2002 Report Share Posted May 6, 2002 I have traveled several time to Buri Ram by train. I have always traveled train that leaves Bkk 11.00-12.00. There were only two classes 2. and 3. .3. with wooden bench and 2. with soft bench..About 8 hours from Bangkok. I like to travel by train, you can eat and drink (Mekhong and beer also) and smoke. Buri Ram is quite small province capitol,although the province is big, tuktuks, never seen taxi there,about 5 hotels . You can have a good time there if you have thai friends. If you are travelling alone it can be difficult to find company from there but it's possible of course.For instance in Grand Hotels" nightclub ??? " were girls that possible were working. I was there with my wife so i could not find out. I haven't seen any massage parlour in the town but I am sure that somewhere there is one, like almost any thai city.
