Vintage_Kwai
My last two visits to Royal India were royally disappointing. My brother agreed, as he too has been before. I hear they also have another restaurant at the Emporium.
Flashermac
Haven't been there in several years. I'd heard they opened one in the Emporium. Maybe the owner out his efforts into that one now.

Fiery Jack
...they have [color:red]cumin[/color] in them? Yes, most of the birds I've shagged in BKK have been okay with that. A few want you to pull out and spray it on their tits, like. jack

gobbledonk
He's certainly a handsome devil, if that avatar is anyhing to go by. Reminds me of one of those 'uncles that the family takes great pains never to mention, even when he turns up at funerals'.

Guest
Mrs Balbir's is a decent restaurant, but I'd take the Royal India over it. I agree...however, I recently (last month) had a lamb Vindaloo at Mrs. Balibir's (the one on Sukh 11/1) and it was quite respectable, and might incendiary...and I'm no wuss, my Thai friends regularly can't share my (Lao) dishes, because of how spicy I order them, when we eat together, haha... When I finally (!) get back to BKK, this is very high on my list. I really want to see the look on a TGs face when she realises the spices arent the same, and being able to eat chilli by the basket doesnt automatically equip one for Vindaloo. I can still remember trying to put out the fire with beer - probably the worst thing you can do - and my subsequent respect for Indian cooking.
