cavanami
Went to the Wat near Suk on Soi On Nut (77). Had a lot of people but I saw many more in previous years. This year I bought a bag of fish food for the fish in the klong and was surprised at all the large catfish in there! It is a fast flowing klong but to eat the fish out of there....errrr, pass and the water was up approx. 10 ~ 20 cm.
Mekong
All in all a pretty low key Loy Kratong last night, very few fireworks and I didn't see one single Khom Fai (Fire Lantern) Lumpini only had small crowds compared to previous years, around Patpong and then later Sukhumvit you wouldn't have even known it was LK. Fed the fish / floated Kratong at the same time, Kratongs made from bread are the new fad.

Flashermac
The bread krathongs have been around for a few years. Glad to see they are catching on. I was looking at some in Tops the other day - when the bakery was bare - and wondering how a bread krathong would taste.
