Flashermac
KANCHANABURI - A tour bus accident in this central province on Friday injured 26 Russian tourists, three of them seriously, as the driver lost control of the vehicle. The bus carrying 44 Russian tourists and three Thai nationals overturned on the Muang Sing Historical Park-Krasae Cave road in Sai Yok district, said Pol Lt Mekin Kongsaeng, an investigator at the Sai Yok police station. The three badly injured female passengers were identified as Natalie Lomonasova, 44; Isabella Lomonasova, 12; and Svetlana Zhirkov, 43. All of the injured were taken to Kanchanaburi Memorial Hospital in Muang district. Pichit Sakul, the bus driver, told police that the tourists were customers of Discovery Holiday and were heading to the cave from Chon Buri province. Mr Pichit said he lost control of the single-deck bus because its steering wheel malfunctioned. The vehicle then went off road, struck a hillock and overturned. The driver was taken into custody at Sai Yok police station for further investigation. http://www.bangkokpost.com/breakingnews/363899/kanchanaburi-bus-crash-hurts-26-russians
