Flashermac
No worse than what they say about city folks in red shirt country. And anyway that is Chang drinker country ... cheaper and more potent than Singha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFFT6YfX6jk

dean
Sorry about the link. Using an Ipad, I couldn't paste it, and I copied the link that the N Y Times gave me on request (I didn't know that it included an ad). I thought that the article showed the divide between regions/social strata in Thailand. And I learned two things that I didn't know about LOS. First, if you want to avoid political/economic fallout over your actions, just change your last name and problem solved. Second, I better watch what I use to wash my feet in public (although Singh, Lao and Red Bull do make your feet soft and appealing to alcoholics). dean
Regardless of how this coming week turns out, I'm glad that my house is in Chiang Mai and not anywhere near Bangkok. And, no, I haven't taken sides with either Red or Yellow shirts but do feel that Thaksin's presence in this conflict should be greatly lessened.
