The accident occurred at noon when the bus, carrying 24 Chinese tourists, emerged from the Mae Khao Intersection tunnel and crashed into a van carrying four European passengers on a nearby ring road. Police found the wrecked and overturned bus and the wrecked van in the middle of road. dean Posted January 29, 2014 Report Share Posted January 29, 2014 At least it wasn't a pick up truck with 7 or 8 people in the back. For some reason, Chiang Mai has become a Mecca for Chinese tourists.
