He said police will also take care of the repairing cost of two other damaged vehicles. On Saturday, three plainclothes policemen tried to force the student, Apeesada Sajphanroj, to stop on suspicion that she was trafficking drug. She was frightened and tried to flee, prompting the policemen to fire at her car and the car's tyres. dean Posted August 3, 2014 Report Share Posted August 3, 2014 What about compensating her for her emotional pain and suffering? I forgot, only the U.S. Allows that. It looks like a fairly new car. Wouldn't her car insurance cover the damage, less the deductible? I occasionally buy salvage vehicles and have them repaired. I wonder if Thai laws allow vehicles that have been declared a total loss (for insurance purposes) to be restored or do they have to be sold for parts/scrap?
