passingthru69
The man was cheating, Stealing is the true fact. How many other times has he been doing this? So losing his right to be in the line at the airport, I believe is fair. Plus according to reports, he fails to show up for a meeting and turns his mobile off. Guilty as charged... baa99
http://www.bangkokpo...cheat-passenger This clever farang lost the old man his job over 35 baht, even had a chuckle in the cab about it, and the presence of mind to film and upload too, nice one..... The old man lost his own job by running a scam!
Flashermac
He hasn't lost his job. He's just banned from the airport. That still leaves a large amount of the city he can drive in, in fact about 99% of it.
jitagawn
I rarely have a problem with the cabbies If they refuse a ride I ask the next one... Sometimes I suspect they are HIGH and I just get out Sometimes they are great to chat with-sometimes not... Mai pen rai na krab

And anyway, from the way the Nation writes about it, it sounds like the airport run is basically a losing proposition until they go for the 150 baht upcharge - that driver should be grateful he doesn't have to go to the airport anymore! It's truly amazing how in several posts now you have condoned and defended cheating, scamming and breaking laws. A great sample of 'Thainess' indeed and the perfect reason why more scammers should be exposed in the LOS.
waerth
I wonder how much money she scams out of her boyfriend and if she encourages him to pay more for everything because it is more expensive in his home country
