Flashermac
When I was in graduate school (back in a previous century) there were many students from Iran. The unmarried men by and large were actively seeking a US citizen spouse so they could stay in the USA. And that was in the days of the Shah, when Iran was a much pleasanter place than it is today. (In fact a close neighbour in the States is from Iran. He married a yummy looking gal and is even a member of my Masonic Lodge. He became a US citizen long ago and has brought his mother to the US. No fool is he.) Iranian women - before and after the Islamic Revolution https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-47032829
