Pescator Posted July 10, 2002 Report Share Posted July 10, 2002 That is right. A lot of thai speakers entirely drop the "l" sound unless it is the initial letter in a word. Very confusing if you know how the word is actually spelled in thai and then you get to hear it without the "l". Makes you wonder if it is another word that you just don`t know.
