adikgede
[ctl]-[alt]-[del] should also work on w98 an w2k. If you use opera you will have the option of picking up at the point that the program was forced to quit. Turning off the power to the computer should always be a last resort taken only if the console freezes. Although it would be a good idea to reboot for good measure after you have managed to get the program to quit. AG
SoiledCowboy
....and don't forget the choice swearwords.................... Just in the last week or two, when visiting a certain well, should we say software site that now has 4,348,296,103 popup windows with the main page, on both occasions I did the three-fingered salute to the browser and it took the whole PC out with it - it rebooted the 'puter, just flipping could have done without that ! Guest
It's been said before, but... Get AdSubtract Pro. Since I got it I've never seen another pop-up or pop-under. And you can block JavaScript so nasty websites won't take control of your browser. And it allows you to select which sites you want to accept JavaScript and cookies from, and which sites you don't. Oh, and it blocks ads too. http://www.adsubtract.com
