Guest Posted August 14, 2002 Report Share Posted August 14, 2002 Forte is very similar to Orbit but a bit smaller and older. Non a member club, but it sells memberships. Opening a bottle of Black label or Chivas gets you in. If I remember well its a bit cheaper that Orbit (Baht 2500.- for the bottle with limited mixers). Trendy place with Disco/Techno music and live bands. Dancers perform on the bar and at other elevated points. Mostly Thai crowd. The dancers and other staff (all good looking) will come to sit with you if you buy them drinks (300 - 400 Baht per drink). You'll have to deal with them directly though if you want to meet them somewhere else. Once you start to know them better they may give you there mobile phone number. Girls from soi 33 will like this. Start at Brew Pavillion Rachada. Relaxing music from 7 till 10 PM onwards, good food en good inhouse brewed beer. Chivas at 1200 Baht per bottle. From 10 PM cross the road to Hollywood Awards. Midmarket disco place, but with a very good show between 10 PM and midnight. Black Label at 1300 Baht per bottle. The place gets to crowded after midnight. So then over to Sukhumvit, either Orbit, Forte, La Luna or Narcissus untill 2 AM. Alterantively you can skip the first 2, pick up your favourite girl at Soi 33 and start at Colliseum. Colliseum is similar to Brew Pavillion but does not have an inhouse brewery. Well decorated though and decent music. Located on sukhumvit Road opposite Soi 55 (Thonglor). Your avarage Soi 33 girl will be ever so greatful that you've taken her along.
