Guest
I read the thread about the 5 000 000baths with interest. Now I'm not in the OP's situation but I'm willing to open a portfolio based on equities, mostly index funds.I'm very far from retirement age and not a resident in Thailand but actually spend almost all my time here.Wich brokerage companies(or others) in Bangkok should I turn to?? What's with taxes and fees here? Some info about Singapore and HK would be welcome as well Thanks for all input

Guest
I don't think it's quite what you're looking for but there is a little bit of information at iShares Hong Kong with a link to the Hong Kong Exchange, for more info. http://www.ishares.com.hk/
sanukdee
i agree with BB. go to General Discussions and read the thread "the server half way there" then give generously. Not only are you helping a worthy cause, but you will gain access to the paysite, and also have a chance to win the raffle.
Guest
If you are young and have money, learn about investing. If you are not comfortable investing long term, then try to learn art of trading in stock marekt. It will make you real money and ofcourse you will lose big time if you fail to learn and plan. If you have 5million and have time, then never give your money to brokage firms to manage for you, especialy these days. btw, this is what i am doing recently, and soon will be semi retaired in thailand
