Guest Posted September 24, 2002 Report Share Posted September 24, 2002 as some have already posted, the pricetag depends a lot on which monk has made the particular amulett, and it has to be a first edition piece. there are no fixed prices. prices may go up suddenly when a particular amulett received good press. the whole thing is very complicated. many of the very valuable ones are faked of course. the value of most of those pieces is just inside thailand valid as much of it is based on esoteric meanings. only the very old pieces carry the value also outside thailand. there are hundreds of thousands different amuletts for all sorts of purposes.
