I use Domnern - Sathienpong Thai - English Dictionary.

I purchased mine in Bangkok for 450Baht

Also look at my previous post where I mention a programme which I use. It has only a small initial Thai - English and

English - Thai facility but it can be easily added to.

I like it

had this problem myself until i worked it out very recently (only for windows 2000 though). you need to go to control panel, regional settings and make thai the default location and language as opposed to american or whatever. then it will work. not sure if it goes in win98 non thai, will have to try.
