Guest
Passport required. Note: your lady can get a passport in 3 days upon presenting nothing more than her ID card.

Guest
passport usually takes 5 working days to issue plus mailing time. Plus you need your house registration as well as your ID and 1060B. The passports are issued in the second floor of of the goverment office on the Bang-na Highway

Guest
The other way round: During my last holiday in Cambodia, I met a cute Viet lady (approx. 26/ 28 years old). I wanted to take her with me to Thailand and show her around the country (during my holidays; of course I would have payed for the flights etc.). I asked her and she wanted to join my party. So far, so good. But, the problem is, she is Viet national and staying in Cambodia on an illegal status (i.e. no passport, no visa). So, is it possible to obtain a legal passport for her in Cambodia and is it possible for her to visit Thailand on a visa issued at the airport? I am planning to see her again. Guest
My wife got her first passport about 6 months ago. She did NOT need her tabien baan. We went to the main passport office in Chaeng Wattana. You may be right about 5 days (I can't recall precisely). Chaeng Wattana is MUCH better than Bang Na for passports. I got my daughter's passport in Bang Na a year ago and it was disorganized and painful.
limbo
Interesting stuff here. My wife got her passport in Hat Yai. Well, she applied for it in Hat Yai and it was mailed to her from BKK. Now are you guys saying that the Laksi office is more proficient than the Bang Na one? Cheers, limbo
