SUZIBANDIT
Whaddya mean they don't use their lights? How else are they going to flash them wildly to let other cars or pedestrians know to move or get smashed? ::
didierhardy
If you buy a car in Thailand, ask for a delivery ""with a driver license"". Most of them can deliver without any problem. Didier

How else are they going to flash them wildly to let other cars or pedestrians know to move or get smashed? :: I honestly think that was the reason why the cop asked me to turn off my lights.. It probably really confuses the hell out of people and they dont know what to do.. It disrupts the organized chaos that seems to work if you follow the thai "rules of the road"
SUZIBANDIT
I'm sure that was it. When I first got here I would turn my lights on at dusk, that really drove the gf nuts. I've quit doing that and now realize that lights don't get turned on until things are pitch black. Otherwise you'll make other drivers think your ready to run them over.
