Guest
Yes, I tip for good service, in LOS too, but I don't consider a baht bus driver trying to overcharge as giving a tip though, and I certainly don't tip 100%++.
zanemay
Just one last itty-bitty comment. The other day I was riding when school let out. The cutest little 5 yr old with the cutest little back pack pushed the buzzer to get off. He handed the driver ONE baht. Everybody beaming, even the driver, who would pass his cute little ass up in a second if there was a farang with 10 baht a few meters further on. "Let the next guy pick up the kid." But is was the cutest little thing! Zane
Guest
The Pattaya baht buses did introduce some color-coded numbers on the top passenger side of the windshield, supposedly to indicate their route. But nobody seems to know what the colors mean. And the drivers seem to zip off anywhere, whenever they feel like it. It would be good if they had their route written in English, positioned clearly on the vehicle (like the ones in Phuket Town). But that's not likely to happen any time soon.
