Straycat Posted December 31, 2002 Report Share Posted December 31, 2002 In case you saw the fire trucks rushing along Sukhumvit and the big cloud of smoke in the horizont, I can tell you that there was a big fire along Petchburi tonight. Affected area: Klong Tan slum quarters, right next to Bewa Shower & Massage. There were without a doubt casualties, and possibly fatalities. The fire seemed rather intensive. Close to 50 fire trucks were involved in the rescue operation. My thoughts goes to the poor families in this neighbourhood. The new year could've started off a whole lot better...
