The Personal History of David Copperfield (2019) A modern take on Charles Dickens's classic tale of a young orphan who is able to triumph over many obstacles. IMDB Perhaps a little "Through the looking glass", but still an enjoyable take on the classic. Dev Patel, Hugh Laurie, Tilda Swinton, Paul Whitehouse, a deliciously creepy Ben Whishaw as Uriah Heep, and others and Peter Capaldi, whom one was expecting, , would pop into a Tardis at any point during the movie.
