samak
where to buy real foie gras in Bangkok at reasonable prices? and i do not mean the pate of foie gras; there are also a lot of products in glasses and cans which claim to be foie gras, but who knows all the additives! so what i like is fresh foie gras! and not at a restaurant, where they usually serve a small, tiny piece of foie gras on one plate for close to 1000 baht... anyone can help? thanks! Old Hippie
I might suggest the Food court in Emporium, but not 100% sure. *Maybe* the Oriental stores as well.
Lord Toad
There is a French butcher opposite Indigo (I think part of the same set up). Indigo is in a small soi opposite the Irish Exchange in Soi Convent. I would start there but Emporium might not be bad bet
elef
where to buy real foie gras in Bangkok at reasonable prices? The only place in Thailand I've seen fresh foie gras (goose liver) was in Le Normandie, Oriental Hotel. I think they get it from France by air freight. So the price is not reasonable, the price of the paté isn't reasonable either in BKK.

As Ive got great French food and wine coming out of my ears, gotta see the doctor, but not a Thai lady in sight what I wouldnùt do to change places. Yes a little too much vin rouge hier. Blasted French keyboard: Zhy dont they have qwerty keyboards here
