Hooking up True Internet

Maybe a local BM can give you a call and talk you through it.

The status lights on the DSL modem will show whether you are getting a signal. :twocents::twocents:

Sang queue welly mutt! :D

I'll try to walk it through. I'm getting a signal and my connection is supposed to be working. The gal at the shop did say something about it taking maybe up to 4 days to work. Huh?

Now when I do go through the installation disk, it stops and says I'm not getting a signal (when the system says I am). It has my click on my router. When I do, it still says no signal. I've yet to get the disk system to go beyond that point. :hmmm:

It sounds like that they have n't flicked the right switches at True yet, which is why you are n't getting DSL.

Update: I finally got everything connected right, signed in and got assigned a user name and password. Still, True says my password is unknown. How long does it take before the dratted thing does work? :(

I also found that if I have the router turned on when I boot up, the PC crashes. Now what? :p

I have to boot up, then turn on the router. :dunno:
