Steve Posted October 1, 2019 Report Share Posted October 1, 2019 I thought I've heard all the major conservative voices, especially the black conservative voices (Candace Owens, Larry Elder, Thomas Sowell, etc.) but I've never heard of this guy. He's obviously a Trump loyalist and his his opinions. All well and good but there are tons of progressive voices who can counter him as well. Not sure the point. The Black Conservative Patriot (BCP) actively works in the USA financial industry and has a strong grip on the USA economy and what is trying to be done to it, crash it to have President Trump and defeated in the 2020 elections. "establish socialism" is a broad term. Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, property taxes, Pell Grants, unemployment payroll taxes, and a myriad of other things can be defined as 'socialistic'. I'm no Greenspan (thank God..haha) but I've worked in the financial industry for most of my adult life. Interned in at Merrill Lynch my last semester, worked at a trading desk, a year at the Federal Reserve's LA office, had my brokers license for stocks, commodities, manager at a very large financial services company and trade forex presently. We stopped the economy from going to a full fledged depression but we never really recovered as we did in prior recessions. Obama and the Fed via all various means propped up the economy during both his terms. Many of the jobs prior to the crash never came back. Trump to his credit tapped into it. Republicans never wanted the economy to come back under Obama purely for political reasons. McConnell told Obama he was not going to work with him on anything. Even on programs he agreed with (infrastructure spending, and other things. Trump got votes in Wisconsin and Michigan and Ohio by accurately pointing out that the 'rigged' employment stats (they were rigged prior to Obama to be fair) wasn't 6 or 7 percent but more like 15 percent at least if you count people who were under employed (College educated grad having to work at FedEx or Whole Foods or the rental car counter at the airport). However, Trump took credit for a falling employment rate, that was rigged. He is no better than Obama. In fact worse because all the bubbles that were growing out of hand under Obama, he's made them even bigger including adding to the national debt faster than Obama. And Obama added immensely to the national debt. There is no Trump economy Cav. At least no positive one. The economy is fucked up. It's been fucked up before he got in but he's made it even worse. Both he and Obama are negligent. I pointed this out in other threads. The 2008 crash was a housing bubble. We now have a housing, credit card, corporate credit, car loan, student debt bubbles going on at the same time and now a trade war with China that the amazing thing is that it hasn't triggered a crash. I agree with Trump about bringing in the trade with China into line so that we are getting more in than is presently going out but he has done it with no planning and long term view of cause and effect and has fucked up niches in the economy. The Dems aren't trying to crash the economy Cav, Trump is doing a great job on his own.
