Violence In Man

I suppose at the height of my drunkeness I felt like I could bat the very cosmos off it's hinges; and light would travel back to me an insuperable consequence.

Why do you feel the need to write in this way. Do you think it makes you seem more intellectual, better read, better educated, more intelligent? Because believe me, it doesn't. Most of what you write isn't even English. :shakehead

It is better than emoticons, isn't it?

Not really. I accept that you were drunk, but your initial post resembles a lot of the pseudo-intellectual gibberish I see posted on various audio boards by Indians and Chinese in an attempt to make themselves appear somehow smarter than they actually are. As you would be aware, I like to go the other way and have to try very hard to appear this thick. :stirthepo

Fuck it - while I'm here anyway ...

A young Bollywood star, Meenakshi Thapar, has allegedly been kidnapped and beheaded by two fellow actors.

The 26-year-old actress met Amit Jaiswal and his lover Preeti Surin on the set of her latest film, Heroine, the UK's Daily Telegraph reports.

It was there that Jaiswal and Surin heard of her family's wealth, and allegedly hatched a plot to kidnap her.

The duo are said to have invited Thapar to a small town on the Nepalese border, where they took her hostage and demanded 1.5 million Rupees ($A27,800) from her parents, and threatened to force her into pornography if they were not paid.

Although Thapar's parents are thought to have transferred some money to their daughter's captors, the young star was killed soon after.

A detective working on the case told The Telegraph some of the harrowing details:

"She was strangulated in a hotel and her body was hacked into pieces and thrown in a water tank. They threw her head from a moving bus while travelling back to Mumbai."

If I had the money, I would do what Mel Gibson did in Ransom; tell the kidnappers that they won't get a dime. But, if they go through with killing the hostage, I would pay $1,000,000 to anyone that killed the kidnappers. The more gruesome the killing, the higher the payment.

Shall I write in Thai then? Interesting that you make the distinction. You expect exemplary English from me, on the internet, no less - and with the accompanying explanation of being legless. Well as it happens I do hold myself to that standard and rather then criticise me why don't you point out where my English falls down?

Let us be friends not enemies Munchy, besides I'm a big fan of that show you like in your Avatar - always made me think more highly of you somehow.

I thought we'd buried the farming implement Gobble. Typical that you defer to someone elses authority. Typical that you'd put the boot in.

Thick as pig shit - well it's a phrase and must qualify as English according to Board Master Munchie - do we have a vote of Yay?

There is a kind of anti-intellectualism here - something I'm surprised at. I've never professed to be an intellectual. I can only gather that people garner that from my personal writing style which is in many ways an artifact.

It is a circumstance beyond my control. Let my poetry set their wretched life's a fire.

You admit that you were drunk when you posted - we've all done it and most of us have regretted it : lets move on.

I've always found you to be thorny character, so it wasnt unexpected that I would agree with Munchy. Feel free to start a cabaL with TTM and dedicate yourselves to my removal from the board - I expect that you'll both be a lot happier when I go elsewhere. :cheerleader:
