Sounds like a sweet enough deal. I found out I can get a visit visa for the TG so may bring her here for a month. I know I'll have to jump through some hoops with a hotel reservation and the like but the upside would be pretty good. I get out to BKK pretty much every six weeks for a 10 day break or so which helps, then there are the Chinese or Filippina overnight cleaners to take care of things and the odd place to grab a beer or so outside and connect with the world a bit so not too bad.

I wouldn't be averse to paying a fee for visa free entry as is done in some countries say 20-30 Euros per 30 day entry and no BS when renewing or multiple in/out. Don't know how many visa free entries a year but that should nicely recover some costs.

Yes, that could be an issue though I suspect some intense mental process involved in some game play might drain you sufficiently to fall asleep. I'm often more tired after spending a day teaching than a regular day doing more physical work. Like you beyond a few PC games I've not been a consoler. The alternative here is to shack up with a Filippina energiser bunny and spend all my time in bed Might be fine at first but then... Then of course there is usually less grief trying a new game

Thanks KS, Your comments and a bit more reading makes me think it's probably better to go with the PS4. I'm babysitting a Middle East airport right now so a visit would be out unfortunately but thanks for the offer. Project Cars seems to be getting a lot of hype and looks good from what I see so I may just go get the 4 and become acquainted with it for a month or so.

Or should I buy an Xbox360? Which is better for car racing games, arcade through to full on simulator style? Can I expect the PS4 title catalogue to grow exponentially over the next 6-12 months or will it remain sparse? And whats the deal with Blu-Ray and other media functions, have heard it said Ps3 beats Ps4 in this respect, true or...?

I've used Video Download Helper, always worked fine but found today it would not work, then a few hours later on other YT vids it worked fine, so now I'm not so sure but a quick Google suggests there are indeed issues with downloading that didn't exist before. Will just see how it goes I guess.

Seems it's no longer possible to download YT videos. Some might say that's a good thing Anyone know of a way around this or have they locked it down pretty tight this time? Cheers
