No they're Olympians. And these days majority of them would be classified as professionals so definitely not Hobbyists. If the majority of their time is dedicated to time and effort into their sport they would be considered professionals. Most if not all have endorsement deals and funding so it would be considered Sport as it provides a living. Out of all the Olympic sports the only two that maintain an amateur standing is Wrestling and Boxing so in their case Hobby may be appropriate although in boxing amateur fighting can fight professionally but all prize money goes into a trust which they cannot access until they retire or turn professional.
