    Some of us

Had an interesting discussion recently about this with a guy well under 40 promoting AI His argument was "work smart not hard" Mine was "While AI can produce huge amounts of content fast, it isn’t always high-quality and certainly can’t be relied upon as being well-researched or factually accurate." There's an entire demographic who without realizing it are just guinea pigs to the Big Tech Companies I am not aware of any regulating body of AI
  2. That all changed in 2016 Justis Huni is a perfect example of that. He earned over $200,000 for the Gallen fight and was still eligible for the Olympics

    Any New Jokes

It's actually something that has been initiated by the Banks to try and identify scams, usually from an Indian call center to protect customers. You are under no obligation to answer. Guess it's also a way for the Banks to distance themselves from any responsibility.
  6. No they're Olympians. And these days majority of them would be classified as professionals so definitely not Hobbyists. If the majority of their time is dedicated to time and effort into their sport they would be considered professionals. Most if not all have endorsement deals and funding so it would be considered Sport as it provides a living. Out of all the Olympic sports the only two that maintain an amateur standing is Wrestling and Boxing so in their case Hobby may be appropriate although in boxing amateur fighting can fight professionally but all prize money goes into a trust which they cannot access until they retire or turn professional.
  7. The Long Gun show was impressive Also the one in Crazy House. Caught a glimpse once of the empty film canister that was inserted.
  8. Yeah they were my thoughts as well. Perhaps his family followed the Pacific Islands tradition where your DOB is registered at your Baptism. My view, if it is something you can earn a living it's a sport. If it's something you participate in socially, it's a hobby.
  9. This Jacinta? Faeken' awful......😳

  13. KFC is shit globally. I prefer Red Rooster. Growing up we had Homestead Chicken
  14. Maybe Hezbollah or Hamas. If only there was a Falafel and a Fried Kibi somewhere in the world it would all make sense. Perhaps a Tabbouleh.
  15. Ooops!!!! Five people in a south-west China town near Myanmar have been injured by stray artillery shells from across the border, as fighting between Myanmar's junta and rebels persist. China's state-controlled Global Times has circulated a video on social media showing one person lying on a pedestrian pavement in front of a row of street stores with people shouting "call the police". In the video, Global Times said officials in Zhenkang had confirmed shelling had strayed from Laukkai, hitting Nansan, a town under its jurisdiction, around 2pm (local time) on Wednesday. The five people have since been taken to hospital, it said. Kokang in Myanmar's Shan state has been a volatile for years In 2015, shelling from the area also landed across the border in Yunnan amid fighting between Myanmar government troops and rebels, injuring one Chinese and four Myanmar nationals, and angering Beijing. Last week, the Chinese embassy in Myanmar urged its nationals to leave Laukkai as soon as possible, citing growing security risks. Thousands displaced as Myanmar's junta clash with ethnic rebel groups The junta has launched a second day of air strikes against rebel groups in Kachin state as it also battles an alliance of ethnic rebel groups in neighbouring Shan state. Read more Armed conflict between Myanmar's military and rebel groups in the country's north has escalated since late October. China has repeatedly called for ceasefire talks and even facilitated dialogue between the two sides. According to the United Nations in mid-December, more than 660,000 people in Myanmar have been displaced since October 27, putting the total current displacement nationwide at a record 2.6 million people. Chinese authorities have told Chinese citizens to avoid travel to northern Myanmar, and for those already in the area, to move to safety or return to China. China also urged the parties in the conflict to exercise "maximum restraint" and achieve a "soft landing" in the situation in northern Myanmar.
  16. "The Thai embassy in Phanom Penh" Never seen it spelt that way only pronounced. Article didn't say who was running them. Chinese? Indians? Oddly I just got a call from some cyber security call center. I said to her "Tillachatta" she replied "huh!" I then said 'Telapoka" to which I was called a "chunky bastard" and she hung up. 5555 She obviously spoke Bengali 😊
  17. I look at it from a general perspective of better to be looking at it than looking for it. May be useful for planning for some. Reality is booze is always available if you know the game
  18. Don't know why! Personally getting tired of the entire hijacked agenda.
  19. "Some administrative or political acts may not be criminal offenses because they are not committed intentionally or with specific intent. For example, if an official issues an administrative order that does not comply with administrative law, this is not automatically a criminal offense." Otherwise, more than half of the civil servants in the country would be in prison. They probably should be 🙄

I think the criticism was more about the fact the 9.00 o'clock ones were meant to be family orientated but had become politicized.

Japan's Nuclear Regulation Authority said no irregularities have been confirmed at nuclear power plants along the coastline. Hokuriku's Shika plant in Ishikawa, which was located the closest to the quake's epicentre, had already halted its two reactors before the quake for regular inspection and saw no impact from the quake, the agency said. Reports of damage were not immediately available, according to the Associated Press. Russia's emergency ministry said part of the Russian-controlled Sakhalin Island was under a tsunami threat with evacuations being carried out, according to state-owned news agency TASS. South Korea's meteorological agency also said the sea level in some parts of the Gangwon province on the nation's east coast may also rise following the earthquake. 22. Bit of a set back to Assange’s extradition to the United States. Pilger was very vocal.
  23. Which ones? 9.00 or 12.00? I am guessing you are referring to the TV broadcast. I know the 9.00 ones were criticized for the over representation of the indigenous community.
